Issue #3: The Plotstorm Thickens
We realize the irony that we're making a comic of a film that's based on a comic. Thought I'd point it out before anyone else does.
SCRIPT:
3.1
Michelle: A wizard approaches you with his staff of magic-
Steven: Staff of magic? Haha, I thought it wasn't that type of roleplay.
3.2
Michelle: It isn't. You said RPGs are usually fantasy. I can't help it if it's all…kinda silly. We both have to take it seriously, okay? The wizard waves at you. “I welcome you to the Wizard’s Collective.”
3.3
Steven: Okay, okay, sorry. I'll stop giving you a hard time. So who's my character?
Michelle: I dunno, who do you want to be?
Steven: Hmm, well, it's a collective of wizards, so how about a wizard? I guess?
3.4
Do you have a character sheet for me or should I just roll up some stats?
Michelle: Character sheet? Roll for stats? I don't know what any of that means. The wizard approaches you. "Greetings fellow wizard, I see you have your guide with you. I-"
3.5
Steven: Oh there's someone with me now?
Michelle: Well, yeah! How would you find yourself out here in the middle of a snowstorm without a guide?
3.6
Steven: I don't even know where 'here' is?!
Michelle: You're in the middle of nowhere! Here, I made a map!
Steven: A map of nowhere?
